Vinylux No Light Gel Nail Polish Small Haul

Today’s haul is 3 CND Vinylux Weekly polishes from Amazon and the Vinylux Top Coat that I’ve purchased on Amazon. This is the best gel nail polish that doesn’t require a UV light for drying it.

I’m currently obsessed with no light gel nail polishes. If you want to know what these polishes are, here’s an article I found on In short, these are gel polishes that you don’t need a lamp for, they just dry on their own like any other ordinary polish. But they have a better longevity. So you can still have a chip-free mani for a whole week.

Vinylux by, the maker of Shellac, is the best no light gel nail polish. Your mani could last a whole week with this polish and its special top coat

I love how Shellac looks, and Shellac has a perfect color palette. I love to ogle Shellac colors on their website. But I’m a bit concerned about using nail UV lamps. Even though nail lamps are supposed to be very safe, I still try to stay away from UV radiation of any kind. Better be safe than sorry many years later. Vinylux has the same colors as Shellac by the way.

So I decided to buy 3 bottles of Vinylux on Amazon and try each of them at home. And the fourth polish bottle, the black one, is actually the special top coat that holds your Vinylux mani in place. It’s a pretty small haul. But the polishes are pretty expensive.

The first one I bought was Wildfire. It’s a deep bright shade of red with a slightly cool undertone. Red nails are my favorite style of manicure. And this polish is RED! I mean really red. A very nice shade. Not over the top, just what I was looking for. But bright and beautiful anyway. Great for a special occasion.

The second polish is my summer favorite. It’s a super-bright coral gel nail polish called Tropix. I’m currently obsessed with everything coral. I’ve just bought a coral handbag and this polish color matches it perfectly. A nice shade for summer.

The third polish bottle contains a lovely sheer light pink color named Negligee. It has light blue shimmer added. I live this polish, it’s perfect for everyday wear, especially for the French manicure, but it’s a bit too sheer. I had to apply it in 3 coats untill it looked good enough, some people even use 4 coats. But I guess 4 layers would be too thick and difficult to remove. But anyway, I love this color. I love how it looks even on short nails.

The last bottle is not a black nail polish but a special hard Vinylux top coat that you need to apply over the dried polish. It’s supposed to hold the mani in place and contributes to the longevity of your Vinylux mani. And the base coat is not needed with the vinylux system.

The polishes dry completely in about 10 minutes. Lamps dry gel nail polishes quicker, but they won’t work with Vinylux.

So here are all my purchases in this haul. One of the best nail hauls I’ve ever had, even though it’s so small and pretty expensive. All in all, Vinylux gel nail polish is a great product and I’m happy to share it with you. It’s worth every penny. I’m sorry I’m not showing the polishes on my nails, they are currently short and they don’t look picture-worthy.

By the way, Amazon is having some delays with beauty products shipping, but Vinylux is Prime eligible so it arrives quicker than when you buy Shellac. And all the gel polish bottles are authentic.

My new beauty products haul

So… I have been on a beauty product buying binge recently and I was quite pleased with the results! Let’s see how my collection has developed since my last haul post.

Nuxe Prodigieux® Beautifying Scented Body Lotion

I have been using this moisturiser for years now. It’s one of my favourite budget moisturisers and I just love it. It makes my skin so soft and really hydrates my face (especially my chin and around my eyes). The consistency is not at all runny or sticky. It smells amazing (and if you haven’t tried Nuxe before, I highly recommend it!).

I use it with my Caudalie Moisturising Gel (review coming soon) to make my skin feel more hydrated. This can then soak up quite a bit of my moisturiser.

Price: $22.50 for 100ml

Availability: From Nuxe

My thoughts: I absolutely love this product! I bought this in a very big bottle but it last ages. It’s not runny and really hydrates my skin without being too heavy. It smells lovely and it does leave a lovely after-bath scent. I would definitely recommend this.

Caudalie Moisturising Gel

I am still in the process of testing this moisturiser and I have a whole new theory about why I like it so much. I think it’s the combination of my skin type and the ingredients it has. It works really well for me in the summer months. I bought this about 3 years ago and I am still using it. This is my first moisturiser to be reviewed on this blog and I was really pleased with the results.

I have heard lots of good reviews about this moisturiser and it really works for me. It’s a bit of a cult favourite at the moment (as I am sure it will be for you too!). I bought this a couple of years ago when I was testing a few different moisturisers and I have used it since.

Price: $18 for 200ml (on sale currently for $14)

Availability: From Caudalie

My thoughts: I have tried many different Caudalie moisturisers now. This one works really well for my skin. It’s not at all runny, nor is it sticky. I really like that it doesn’t feel like your hands are all greasy afterwards. This is a great moisturiser for a lot of reasons. I’m not sure why I have a bit of a hate-love relationship with Caudalie products. I like some of their products and hate others.

I have tried all sorts from the Caudalie Rose Moisturiser (my favourite) to the Rose Hydrating Moisturiser. This one works really well for me. It’s not runny and it leaves my skin feeling soft. It’s not sticky and it doesn’t weigh me down. I would recommend this to everyone. It’s a great budget moisturiser.

New beauty haul this week

So I’ve got a new haul with multiple makeup products today.

Here are some new beauty products I’ve purchased for myself.

First, I’ve got the Kiehl’s Facial Fuels, they’re work lile a scrub or an exfoliation product for the face.

Next, I’ve bought Tom Ford quads. They have the perfect formula and selection of colors for me.

One of the color quads in my haul also comes together with the Extreme mascara as a bonus.

I’m a huge fan of this product. It just makes my lashes look soooo long.

As a nice addition to all this haul I’ve got the eye defining pen.

Thus pen comes in form of a double-ended liquid eyeliner.

I got rid of my previous liquid eyeliner when I was decluttering last year. And I’m actually not uaing this type of product too much.

And what goes well with black eyeliner and mascara? A bright red lipstick, of course!

I also bought the long lasting foundation by Giorgio Armani. It was recommended by an influencer that I follow on Instagram and it really stays on very well.

I love the fact that this product is made in Italy.

I couldn’t decide which shade to buy so I got the second lightest one. Finally, I was able to find a shade that fits me most.

I’ve bought a universal bronzer that suits just about any skin tone.

It’s not a compact but a refill. It’s a lot smaller than the big and chunky compact that is sold under the same brand.

Still, it does come with a little brush for application. But I’m going to use a large brush from my mermaid brushes set instead.

I decided not to get a compact that this refill would fit into. So I guess I’ll have to use the refill as a standalone product.

I already have enough compacts in my makeup collection ao I just don’t want to have another compact to clutter my vanity.

I absolutely adore the finish of this bronzing powder. It has a super-soft satiny sheen and the bronzer is totally gorgeous.

I also love to buy blushers that work as eyeshadows. They are easy to use on both cheeks and eyes. So you can create a color-coordinated makeup look in one shade.

This is a great invention. I know that K-beauty brands often release eye to cheek products.

I’ve got two of these dual products in bright shades.

They have a soft and creamy consistency, like a mousse. I absolutely love textures like that. They are my favorite.

In addition to that, the shadow blusher has a cute iridescent color shift with a golden sheen.

I also got a multi-color eyeshadow palette.

It contains several matte colors and three glitter shadows.

I want to try different combinations of them all.

Next up, a satin finish nude lipstick.

It’s the perfect shade for my skin tone and the most natural looking of them all.

The lipstick is slick and creamy and feels very nice on my lips.
